## Synopsis

The Reluctant Traveller with Eugene Levy (2023-2025) is a British travel documentary series created for Apple TV, with production by Twofour. Award-winning actor Eugene Levy hosts as a nervous explorer who steps well outside his comfort zone on whirlwind trips to some of the world's most beautiful and intriguing destinations. Each episode follows Levy as he tackles unfamiliar local experiences, reacting with anxious humor and self-deprecating honesty while meeting residents and guest personalities such as Michael Bublé, Joan Collins, and Héctor Bellerín along the way. The engine of the show is simple: a reluctant traveler facing a fresh challenge in each new place, with the travelogue built around vivid landscapes, cultural encounters, and the small disasters of stepping outside a comfort zone. The series runs three seasons across twenty-three episodes, a light, episodic format where each destination stands on its own. Its tone is breezy, warm, and comic, with a sense of wonder underneath the nerves. Fans of Somebody Feed Phil, The Trip, and Parts Unknown will find a similar appetite for place, personality, and gentle travel comedy.
