## Synopsis

Love Like the Galaxy (2022) is a Chinese historical romance drama series created by Zheng Yi for Tencent Video, adapted from a web novel. Leo Wu plays Ling Buyi, the emperor's adopted son, and Zhao Lusi plays Cheng Shaoshang, a young noblewoman left behind by parents who went off to war. Shaoshang lives under a scheming aunt and has learned to guard her heart, so she approaches marriage warily while weighing three suitors: Ling Buyi, Yuan Shen (Li Yunrui), a gifted figure from Bailu Mountain, and the aristocrat Lou Yao (Yu Chengen). The engine of the series is her romance with Ling Buyi, which is tangled in a mystery about his family and identity and pulls the couple into a national crisis. Each episode builds through court politics, family estrangement and quiet emotional confrontations. Across one 56-episode season, the story moves through a single continuing arc with a steady, earnest rhythm. Set in an ancient Chinese court milieu, it carries a sincere, wistful and hopeful tone, with trauma and resilience at its heart. Fans of Story of Yanxi Palace, Eternal Love and The Untamed will find resonance in its costume grandeur and devoted romance.
