## Synopsis

Villainous (2021) is a Mexican animated comedy series created by Alan Ituriel for Cartoon Network Latin America. Doctor Flug, Dem and the adorable failed experiment 505 form a team that helps all kinds of villains with their villainous problems and the heroic foes who get in the way. Voiced by José Antonio Macías as Doctor Flug, Alan Ituriel as Black Hat, Melissa Gedeón as Demencia and Mark Fischbach as 505, the show runs for a single season of six short episodes, each about eleven minutes long. Its engine is simple and funny: a villain arrives with a scheme that has gone wrong, and the trio must untangle it while heroes and rivals complicate matters. The tone is breezy, playful and affectionate toward its misfits, with a light irreverent edge that never turns cruel. Fans of Megamind and Villains Anonymous will find resonance in its gleeful inversion of good and evil. The series suits family viewing and anyone who enjoys a bright, quick cartoon about villainy as an ordinary job.
