## Synopsis

Between Us (2022-2023) is a Thai television drama miniseries created by LazySheep for ONE 31, a single-season run of twelve hour-long episodes. Swimmer Win (Noppanut Guntachai) struggles with insomnia and old wounds until a senior, Dean (Thitiwat Ritprasert), lets him stay in his room. Their unlikely closeness deepens as swimming competitions draw near, pushing both men to confront the fears they have carried for years. Teammates and friends around them, including Team (Warut Chawalitrujiwong) and Pharm (Natouch Siripongthon), add pressure and warmth as the training grinds on. Flashbacks gradually reveal the difficult childhoods that shaped the characters, giving the present-day pool scenes and quiet domestic moments a weight that builds episode by episode. The mood is intimate, melancholic and tender, with moments of hope threaded through heavier material about trauma, illness and loss. Viewers who appreciate emotionally grounded Southeast Asian youth drama, slow character studies and friendships that heal will find resonance here, in the vein of Heartstopper and Please Like Me. The series is a contained, emotionally demanding watch that rewards patience.
