## Synopsis

The Mysterious Class (2021) is a South Korean school mystery series created for YouTube, a short-form eight-episode supernatural thriller that plays like a Korean school ghost story. Set among twelfth grade students at an all-boys school, the story follows a class that holds a seance on a whim and becomes convinced a ghost is lurking among them. Cast members Yoon Jae-hyuk, Park Jeong-woo, Kim Do-young, Choi Hyun Suk and Bang Ye-dam play classmates whose disbelief slowly sours into suspicion as eerie events unfold. The engine of the series is the hunt itself: each episode of roughly twenty minutes adds a strange incident that narrows the circle of possible suspects, and the friends must deduce which of them is the ghost before the unease tears their bond apart. Shape and scale are compact, a single self-contained season told as one continuing investigation. The mood is tense and uneasy, with classroom tension and whispered accusations carrying a steady undercurrent of dread rather than gore. Fans of school ghost stories and Korean supernatural thrillers such as Light Shop and Sweet Home will find resonance in its blend of teen friendship, paranoia and creeping supernatural unease.
