## Synopsis

Tel chi el telùn is a 1999 Italian sketch comedy special created for Canale 5, filmed as a three-episode theatrical show lasting about 190 minutes. The comedy trio Aldo, Giovanni e Giacomo carry the evening, with Marina Massironi joining the company. Rather than following a single protagonist through a plotted arc, the show moves quickly from one character to the next, offering Zen monks meditating with absurd solemnity, deadly surgeons, barbarians in a wasteland, and the unlikely officers of a special police squad. Each segment relies on physical comedy, quick costume changes, and playful exaggeration of familiar genre conventions, so the engine is the pleasure of watching the performers reinvent themselves again and again. The tone is cheerful, irreverent and breezy, with a stage-bound warmth that suits an audience sitting together for a long night of laughs. Fans of Monty Python and The Kids in the Hall will recognize its ensemble sketch energy and parody of genre clichés. Because it is a single theatrical evening rather than a serialized story, it is best approached as a standalone night of comedy.
