## Synopsis

Billy the Kid (2022-2025) is an American western drama series created by Michael Hirst for Epix, later carried by MGM+. Tom Blyth plays the title outlaw, an Irish-born youth who becomes a cowboy and gunslinger on the New Mexico frontier, drawn into the bloody Lincoln County War alongside Alex Roe as Pat Garrett, Daniel Webber as Jesse Evans, and Nuria Vega as Dulcinea Del Tobosco. Across three seasons of eight episodes each, the engine of the story is his restless desire for belonging and love pitted against rival ranchers, cattle rustlers, and the outlaw gang that becomes his family. Each season is one continuing, serialized saga of range feuds, fast-draw showdowns, card games, and shifting alliances rather than a case of the week. Set in the 1870s American frontier, the show moves between dusty towns and open range with a romantic adventure sensibility, its tone mixing brooding violence with tender, wistful moments. Its historical sweep and charged relationships will appeal to fans of Deadwood and Hell on Wheels, and to anyone drawn to revisionist westerns like Godless. Expect a grounded, adult take on the legend, with moral compromise and frontier brutality woven through its romance.
