## Synopsis

Shadow Hunter (2005-2006) is a Canadian paranormal documentary series created for Space. Hosted by ghost hunter, best-selling author and doctor of parapsychology Darryll Walsh, the thirteen-episode run follows him as he travels to reported haunted sites and examines accounts of unexplained phenomena. Each half-hour episode is built around a single investigation, with the host interviewing witnesses, reviewing evidence and weighing what might lie behind the claims. The engine is curiosity rather than suspense: the viewer follows the host's search for answers and the stories people bring to him. The series has one season and a contained, self-standing shape, with no continuing narrative to track. Its tone is earnest and inquisitive, leaning toward eerie atmosphere without tipping into horror. Fans of Ghost Hunters, Unsolved Mysteries and Haunted Live will find the same blend of investigation and unexplained mystery.
