## Synopsis

As We See It (2022) is an American dramedy series created by Jason Katims for Prime Video. Three roommates on the autism spectrum, Jack (Rick Glassman), Violet (Sue Ann Pien) and Harrison (Albert Rutecki), share an apartment while trying to find love, make friends, hold down jobs and build adult lives. Their aide Van (Chris Pang) and families, including Mandy (Sosie Bacon) and Lou (Joe Mantegna), help them through setbacks and celebrate small victories. The engine of the show is ordinary young-adult ambition, such as a first date, a new job or a difficult conversation with a parent, played out across eight half-hour episodes that follow one continuing storyline. Its tone is warm and sincere, mixing laughter with tears in a grounded, humane register. Set in a contemporary American city, it treats neurodivergent independence with dignity and humor. Fans of Atypical and This Is Us will find resonance in its heartfelt ensemble drama and its emotional honesty about family and acceptance.
