## Synopsis

7 vs. Wild (2021-present) is a German reality survival competition created by Fritz Meinecke and aired on YouTube, Prime Video and Amazon Freevee. Seven candidates are abandoned in the Swedish wilderness with seven pre-selected items and only the clothes they wear, with no camera crew and no contact with the outside world. Host Ed Stafford appears alongside participants including Matthias Steiner, Mike Singer, Tatjana Sabitzer, David Leichtle, Martin Rudloff, Simon Hegewald, Nika Sofie and Jeannine Michaelsen, all presented as themselves. The engine of each season is practical: the group must share shelter, food and warmth while earning points through daily challenges, and the player who remains after seven days with the most points wins. The format is structured as a season-by-season run of six seasons so far, each built from individual days of challenges and tense group dynamics. Tone is gritty and sincere, with alliances forming and fracturing under cold, hunger and fatigue. Fans of Survivor, Alone and Naked and Afraid will find resonance in its raw isolation, rivalry and endurance. The result is a stripped-down survival contest where the wilderness itself is the main opponent.
