## Synopsis

Don't Leave Me (2022) is an Italian crime drama series created by Maddalena Ravagli and Leonardo Fasoli for Rai 1. Police officer Elena Zonin (Vittoria Puccini) is pulled back to Venice, the city she left twenty years earlier, when the body of a young boy turns up in the Venetian Lagoon. Her investigation pushes her into the world of cybercrime, online chat rooms and the dark web, where children are hunted and kidnapped. Working alongside colleagues including Daniele Vianello (Alessandro Roia) and Giulia Lari (Sarah Felberbaum), Elena pieces together a case that reaches into her own past while the city's canals and fog-bound streets close in around her. The series runs for a single season of eight hour-long episodes, each one a tightly paced case that builds toward a larger network of abuse. Its tone is sombre and grounded, with dread and urgency balanced by moments of quiet human connection. Fans of Broadchurch and The Fall will find resonance in its careful procedural pacing and its willingness to confront the darkest corners of crime.
