## Synopsis

Love Me is an Australian drama series that aired on Binge from 2021 to 2023, created by Josephine Bornebusch. Its two seasons of six episodes each, runtime around 43 minutes, follow the Mathieson family: Clara Mathieson (Bojana Novaković), Glen Mathieson (Hugo Weaving) and Aaron Mathieson (William Lodder). The engine of the show is their search for footing after an unexpected event rearranges their lives, and each episode turns on the small, painful choices a family makes when its old routines no longer hold. Supporting roles from Bob Morley as Peter, Heather Mitchell as Anita and Celia Pacquola as Sasha widen the circle around them. The series unfolds as one continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week format, so its emotional arcs build across both seasons. It is set in contemporary Australia, in an everyday domestic world rendered without spectacle. The tone is intimate, wistful and melodramatic, with a heavy undercurrent of grief and a stubbornly tender hope running beneath the family conflict. Viewers who appreciate grief dramas in the vein of This Is Us and Six Feet Under, or the quieter reckonings of The Leftovers, will find real resonance here.
