## Synopsis

Berlin (2023) is a Spanish crime caper series created by Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato for Netflix. It is a prequel and spin-off to the Money Heist universe, following the charismatic thief Andrés 'Berlín' de Fonollosa (Pedro Alonso) as he gathers a gang in Paris for one of his most ambitious plans, stealing 44 million euros' worth of jewels in a single night. Camille Polignac (Samantha Siqueiros) and Damián Vázquez (Tristán Ulloa) are among the principal figures whose loyalties and romances complicate the scheme. The engine of the story is the planning and execution of a meticulous robbery, with each episode built around setup, complications, and the emotional entanglements that arise among the crew. The season runs eight episodes of roughly forty-nine minutes, a single continuing arc rather than a case-of-the-week format. Set in a glamorous, rain-touched Paris, the series carries a breezy, sensual, romance-tinged tone, with heist suspense giving way to love affairs and personal betrayals. Fans of Money Heist, Lupin and Ocean's Eleven will find the same blend of stylish criminal swagger and ensemble scheming.
