## Synopsis

Midnight Series: Moonlight Chicken (2023) is a Thai boys love romance series created by P'Aof and produced by GMMTV for GMM 25. Jim, an ordinary guy who runs a Hainanese chicken rice diner, is played by Pirapat Watthanasetsiri, while Sahaphap Wongratch plays Wen, a breezy real estate agent who arrives after a late night of drinking. Jim wants to keep his life uncomplicated, but the encounter leaves him unable to stop thinking about Wen, and the push and pull between them drives each episode. Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan appears as Gaipa and Kanaphan Puitrakul as Alan among the supporting cast. The series runs for eight episodes of roughly seventy minutes each and tells a single continuing story rather than case-of-the-week episodes. Its tone is gentle and lighthearted with moments of quiet longing, shaped by the warm rhythms of a neighborhood food business. The story also follows two other couples, including Li Ming, played by Nattawat Jirochtikul, and Heart, played by Norawit Titicharoenrak, giving the romance a layered, interlocking shape. Fans of Bad Buddy and 2gether: The Series will find the same mix of tender slow burn and comfortable everyday charm.
