## Synopsis

Drag Race France (2022-present) is a French national-television reality competition series created by RuPaul, Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, produced for France 2 and streaming on WOW Presents Plus. Hosted and judged by Nicky Doll, with Daphné Bürki, Kiddy Smile and Loïc Prigent on the panel and guest appearances from Anggun and Shy'm, the show follows a field of drag queens competing week to week. The engine is simple and sharp: each queen wants to stay in the race, and every episode delivers rigorous mini and maxi challenges, sewing and performance tests, and glamorous fashion shows. When the rankings bottom out, the two weakest contestants must battle in a legendary lip-sync to decide who goes home. The series runs five seasons with roughly forty-one episodes, structured as a serialized competition with a case of the week rhythm. Its tone is campy, witty and warm, with bright theatrical styling and a playful French sense of humor. Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race and Drag Race UK will find the same mix of glamour, camaraderie and cutting judging here, delivered in a French register.
