## Synopsis

Ghost Doctor (2022) is a South Korean television miniseries created by Boo Seong-cheol for tvN, a Korean drama that blends medical drama with supernatural fantasy. Surgeon Cha Young-min (Rain), a skilled doctor turned coma patient, finds himself in the body of Ko Seung-tak (Kim Bum), a first-year resident who is his opposite in both expertise and personality. Their uneasy partnership forms the engine of the series: the ghostly veteran must guide the rookie through surgeries, emergency room crises and hospital politics while navigating the awkward limits of sharing one body. Each episode pairs a clinical case with personal stakes, and the story runs across a single sixteen-episode season. Supporting turns from Uee as Jang Se-jin and Son Na-eun as Oh Soo-jung add romantic and professional complications at the hospital. The tone mixes sincere, cozy humor with moments of genuine medical tension and emotional warmth, with a touch of bromance. Fans of Hospital Playlist, Doctor Stranger and Hotel Del Luna will find the same blend of whimsical supernatural premise, odd couple chemistry and heartfelt hospital drama.
