## Synopsis

Forecasting Love and Weather (2022) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Kang Eun-kyung for JTBC. Set inside a national weather service, it follows a diligent forecaster, Jin Ha-kyung (Park Min-young), whose orderly routine is disrupted by a free-spirited co-worker, Lee Si-woo (Song Kang). Their attraction must be kept hidden in a government office where colleagues notice everything, and the pair's private feelings collide with professional duties and family expectations. Across sixteen one-hour episodes, the series mixes lighthearted office banter with quieter moments of romantic uncertainty, and the forecasting work forms the backdrop rather than the core of each story. The tone is breezy and warm, with a gentle comic rhythm and an emotional pull toward the central couple. Set in contemporary Seoul, the series is a compact workplace romance built around an age-gap pairing and the difficulty of revealing a secret relationship. Fans of Something in the Rain, Mr. Queen and Crash Landing on You will find a similar blend of Korean romcom charm and office-set romantic tension.
