## Synopsis

Reborn Rich (2022) is a South Korean television drama series created by Kim Tae-hee, Jung Dae-yoon and San Kyung for JTBC. Song Joong-ki plays Yoon Hyun-woo, a loyal employee who is framed for embezzlement and murdered by his employers, then reborn as the youngest son of the Jin family, Jin Do-jun. Lee Sung-min plays Jin Yang-chul, the family patriarch whose household becomes a battleground of rival heirs, while Shin Hyun-been and Yoon Je-moon portray the family members who compete for control. The engine of the story is Do-jun's patient, calculated plan to wrest the conglomerate from the relatives who wronged him, using foreknowledge of the future to outmaneuver rivals at every turn. Each episode builds through boardroom schemes, family confrontations and quiet strategic moves, with flashbacks to his earlier life fueling his resolve. Told as a single sixteen-episode serialized arc, the series is a Korean drama of brisk, tense and cathartic register, with a glossy contemporary Seoul setting and the chaebol world of corporate dynasties. Viewers who enjoy revenge sagas and high-stakes family power plays in the vein of The Glory and Money Game will find a similar appetite for vengeance and rivalry.
