## Synopsis

Big Nate (2022-2024) is a American animated family comedy series created for Paramount+ and produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio. Sixth-grader Nate Wright (voiced by Ben Giroux) is a self-appointed star who never stops trying to prove his awesomeness, whether he is facing disasters at home or detention at school. His parents, voiced by Dove Cameron as Ellen Wright and Rob Delaney as Martin Wright, add domestic chaos to every episode, while his classmates Francis Pope and Teddy Ortiz and principal Nichols, voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, complicate his schemes. Each 23-minute episode is built from small, self-contained misadventures, and Nate often channels his frustration and ambition into the animated cartoons he creates. The 3D animation is bright and bouncy, and the tone is cheerful, goofy, and warm, with gentle slapstick and easygoing family humor. Across two seasons and 52 episodes, the show keeps a light, pleasant rhythm suited to younger viewers. Fans of The Loud House, Recess, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid will find resonance in its lively school-age comedy and playful family dynamics.
