## Synopsis

All American: Homecoming (2022-2024) is an American teen and young adult drama series created by Nkechi Okoro Carroll for The CW. Simone Hicks (Geffri Maya), a tennis hopeful from Beverly Hills, and Damon Sims (Peyton Alex Smith), an elite baseball player from Chicago, arrive at the prestigious historically Black university Bringston University, where they must balance demanding athletic goals with new friendships, rivalries, and romance. Marcus Turner (Cory Hardrict) and Sylvester Powell as Jessie JR Raymond add further pressure and loyalty to the ensemble. The engine of each episode is the push and pull between career ambition and the personal costs of chasing it, from training schedules and scouting pressure to campus social life and family expectations. Across three seasons and forty-one episodes, the show moves through a single continuing campus story rather than standalone cases. Its tone is warm and earnest, with flashes of humor and glossy youthful energy, while its themes of identity, belonging, and ambition stay grounded in the everyday realities of college. Fans of Friday Night Lights and the original All American will find resonance in its blend of sports competition and coming-of-age drama.
