## Synopsis

Citadel Honey Bunny (2024) is an Indian-produced action spy thriller series created by Sita Menon for Prime Video. Samantha Ruth Prabhu plays Honey, a struggling actress recruited into dangerous work, and Varun Dhawan plays Bunny, a stuntman who once drew her into a high-stakes world of espionage and betrayal. Years later the estranged pair must reunite when their past catches up with them, and their fight to protect their young daughter Nadia (Kashvi Majmundar) becomes the emotional core of the story. Kay Kay Menon appears as Guru, a figure tied to the shadowy intelligence world. The engine of the series is a constant pull between tradecraft and personal loyalty, with each episode built from chase sequences, undercover deceptions, and shifting alliances. Its six episodes of roughly fifty-two minutes each form a single serialized arc rather than standalone cases. The show is set in a present-day rhythm with flashbacks to the past that shaped its leads. Tone is brisk, glossy, and propulsive, with flashes of wry humor between the bigger set pieces. Fans of Citadel, Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The Americans will find resonance in its blend of spycraft, marital history, and family stakes. The series received mixed audience reactions and was canceled after one season.
