## Synopsis

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX (2004-2008) is a Japanese animated shonen series created for TV Tokyo and produced by Gallop and Shueisha. Set ten years after the Ceremonial Battle, it follows the cheerful teenager Judai Yuki (voiced by KENN), also known as Jaden Yuki, who enrolls at Duel Academia on a remote island off the coast of Japan. Placed in the lowest dorm, Osiris Red, he wants to prove himself as a duelist and win the respect of classmates and faculty. Along the way he trades monster-filled card battles with rivals and friends including Sho Marufuji (Masami Suzuki), Asuka Tenjouin (Sanae Kobayashi) and Jun Manjoume (Taiki Matsuno), while professor Daitokuji (Kappei Yamaguchi) guides the school. Each episode is built around a duel with its own strategy and spectacle, and the season adds a growing thread of rivalry and friendship. The tone is earnest, energetic and warm, with a kids-friendly sense of adventure. Fans of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokémon and Beyblade will find the same blend of card battles, school competition and sincere camaraderie. Its single season of 180 episodes makes it a long, comforting, rewatchable run for younger viewers and families.
