## Synopsis

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten (2023-2026) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series created for TOKYO MX, adapted from a light novel and running two seasons with twelve episodes each. Amane Fujimiya (voiced by Taito Ban) lives alone in an apartment and has barely spoken to Mahiru Shiina (voiced by Manaka Iwami), the most admired girl at his school, until a rainy afternoon when he lends her his umbrella. Her way of returning the favour is to take over small chores around his home, and the everyday exchanges that follow let a tentative bond grow between two lonely people. Friends such as Itsuki Akazawa (voiced by Taku Yashiro) and Chitose Shirakawa (voiced by Haruka Shiraishi) orbit the pair and add lightly teasing company. The engine of the show is the slow accumulation of tiny moments: shared meals, quiet evenings, and awkward silences that gradually become comfortable. Each episode is self-contained in its gentle rhythm while the romance advances across both seasons. The tone is wholesome, mildly sweet, and soothing, with brief touches of comedy and wistful sadness. Fans of Horimiya, Sweetness and Lightning and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find resonance in its school-life charm and tender, slow-building affection.
