## Synopsis

Finding Ola (2022-2024) is an Egyptian family comedy-drama series created by Ghada Abdel Aal and Maha El Wazir for Netflix. Hend Sabry plays Ola Abdel Sabour, a woman whose life is upended by a sudden event and who must find her footing again while raising two children and stretching a tight budget. Around her, Hani Adel, Sawsan Badr, Aicel Ramzy, Nada Moussa and Khaled El Nabawy fill out a close circle of family and friends whose relationships shape each episode. The show runs for two seasons of six episodes each, and its engine is the everyday friction of Ola trying to reinvent herself while the practical demands of school runs, household bills and work keep pressing in. Stories unfold through small domestic scenes, with friendship, love and the difficulty of returning to oneself carrying the emotional weight. The tone is warm and wry, grounded in the texture of modern Cairo family life and balancing humor with real sincerity. Viewers who enjoy domestic dramedies such as One Day at a Time or the sharp, character-driven comedy of Fleabag will find a familiar kinship here, along with the quiet resilience of a single mother starting over.
