## Synopsis

Business Proposal (2022) is a South Korean romantic comedy miniseries created by Han Sul-hee, Park Seon-ho and Hong Bo-hee for SBS, a k-drama in the workplace romance tradition. Kim Se-jeong plays Shin Ha-ri, a woman who impersonates her friend on a blind date to scare off the man, only to discover that he is her chief executive. Ahn Hyo-seop plays CEO Kang Tae-moo, whose unexpected proposal sets the story in motion, while Kim Min-gue, Seorina and Lee Duck-hwa fill out the company and family circles around them. The engine is simple and sweetly comic: a deceptive identity that grows harder to maintain inside a corporate office where every hallway holds a rival, a gossiping colleague or a family obligation. Across twelve hour-long episodes the story stays a single continuing arc, with the awkward push and pull of an office romance carrying each installment. Chaebol privilege, class difference and the pressure of keeping a secret give the romance a playful, flustered, warmly comic register, with moments of tenderness mixed into the banter. Fans of Crash Landing on You and Boys Over Flowers will find resonance here, along with anyone who enjoys a light, sparkling romantic comedy.
