## Synopsis

Today's Webtoon (2022) is a South Korean workplace comedy-drama created by Jo Hyun-joo for SBS. Kim Se-jeong plays Oh Ma-eum, a judo star whose career-ending injury forces her to reinvent herself inside a webtoon editorial department. Nam Yoon-su, Choi Daniel, and Ko Chang-seok anchor the office ensemble around her, as colleagues and editors push deadlines and creative disputes across the publishing floor. The engine is practical: she must learn an unfamiliar craft, meet demanding schedules, and find where her drive fits now that the old goal is gone. Each episode builds around a new project, a manuscript crisis, or a personal setback, giving the story a steady episodic rhythm within one continuing arc across sixteen episodes of roughly sixty-nine minutes. Set in contemporary Seoul, the series balances light office humor with sincere moments about ambition and belonging. Its tone is warm and earnest, with gentle comedy and a hopeful outlook on starting over. Fans of Shirobako and Misaeng will find resonance in its portrait of creative labor and the search for a new vocation.
