## Synopsis

Cheer Up (2022) is a South Korean campus romance series created by Lee Ok-gyu for SBS. Set in a university, it follows a renowned college cheerleading squad whose future is uncertain as the team nears collapse. Han Ji-hyeon plays Do Hae-yi, a member of the squad whose romantic entanglements sit at the heart of the story, alongside Bae In-hyuk as Park Jung-woo and Kim Hyun-jin as Jin Seon-ho. Their days are built from practice sessions, rehearsals, and the pressure of keeping a famous team afloat, while crushes, rivalries, and secrets ripple through the group. Mystery threads surface within the team, giving the romantic storylines a quiet undercurrent of suspense. The tone is sentimental and amused, mixing youthful lightheartedness with wistful moments about friendship and first love. Viewers who enjoy Hwarang, Haikyu!!, and Sweet Revenge will find similar pleasures in ensemble youth stories built around a shared goal. The sixteen one-hour episodes form a single continuing arc that unfolds across one season, giving the campus setting a warm, lived-in feel.
