## Synopsis

Las Vías del Amor (2002-2003) is a Mexican national-television telenovela created by Emilio Larrosa, Arturo Pedoraza Loera and Alejandro Pohlenz for Las Estrellas and produced by Televisa. The series follows a single continuing romantic storyline across 220 episodes, with Aracely Arámbula as Perla Gutiérrez Vázquez, Jorge Salinas as Gabriel Quesada Barragán and Enrique Rocha as Sebastián Mendoza Romero at its emotional center. Daniela Romo as Leticia López Albavera and Julio Alemán as Alberto Betanzos add further layers of rivalry and loyalty among the principal families. Each chapter builds tension through intertwined couples, shifting alliances and the pull of family obligations, all carried by the heightened emotional register typical of the form. Its tone is sincere and melodramatic, swelling with longing, jealousy and reconciliation, and its contemporary Mexican setting gives the drama a familiar, lived-in texture. Fans of Rosalinda, Maria la del barrio and Mirada de mujer will find the same hallmark pairing of romance and high-stakes family conflict in a telenovela shaped for long-form viewing.
