## Synopsis

Yosi, the Regretful Spy is an Argentinian espionage drama created by Daniel Burman. Gustavo Bassani plays José Pérez, an intelligence agent who goes undercover as Yosi inside the Jewish community, where his covert work quietly sets the stage for anti-Semitic terrorist attacks. Years later, haunted by what he helped set in motion, he decides to bring the truth into the open. Minerva Casero plays Dafne Menajem, a figure bound up with the community he has infiltrated, while Natalia Oreiro and Alejandro Awada fill out the wider web of loyalties and suspicions. The engine of the series is the tension between a spy's duty and a conscience that cannot stay quiet, played out through clandestine meetings, compromised relationships, and a past that keeps returning in a nonlinear timeline. Set against Argentina's dark decades of military rule and political violence, it is a docudrama of real national history, weighty and austere, with torture and dread shadowing its quieter scenes. Fans of The Night Manager, Chernobyl and The Americans will find resonance in its moral reckoning and historical texture.
