## Synopsis

Cómplices Al Rescate (2002) is a Mexican and Brazilian co-produced telenovela created by Socorro González for Las Estrellas. Twin sisters Mariana Cantú and Silvana Del Valle, separated at birth, reunite after eleven years when Silvana invites Mariana to join the project that gives the series its title. Played by Belinda and Daniela Luján, the two women navigate a household of new relationships, loyalties, and rivalries as they learn what friendship and love demand of them. Laura Flores, Francisco Gattorno, and Martín Ricca appear among the principal cast, with Alejandro Speitzer and Vadhir Derbez in supporting roles. The engine of the series is the slow reconnection of divided sisters, shaped by romantic entanglements, family pressures, and the everyday obstacles of a working life that pulls them apart. Its single season runs 132 episodes of 45 minutes each, following the classic telenovela pattern of long, interlocking storylines built for a daily audience. The tone is warm, earnest, and comforting, with melodrama softened by a family-friendly, wholesome outlook. Fans of Monte Carmelo, Destilando amor, and Rebelde will find a similar appetite for heartfelt romance and loyal bonds. Set in contemporary Mexico, the series remains a gentle and sincere example of Latin American soap storytelling.
