## Synopsis

Holy Family (2022-2023) is a Spanish Netflix drama series created by Manolo Caro, a serialized family thriller built around a household that hides a shocking secret. Gloria Román, played by Najwa Nimri, leads a family that starts over in Madrid, hoping a fresh city will bury what they have done. Iván Pellicer plays Abel, and Carla Campra plays Aitana Martínez, whose new relationships complicate the family's plans and push them closer to exposure. Across two seasons and sixteen episodes of roughly 38 minutes each, the series follows one continuing story in which every reunion, new romance and close call tightens the pressure on the household. The engine is simple and sharp: the characters want a clean slate, while the past keeps finding a way back into their daily lives. Madrid streets, apartments and ordinary routines give the drama a grounded, urban texture, and the tone stays tense, emotionally raw and morally uneasy. Viewers who enjoy Spanish prestige drama with family secrets and layered backstory will find resonance here, in the vein of La casa de papel and Big Little Lies. The series is rated TV-MA and carries mature material throughout, making it best suited to adult viewers who want a character-driven thriller that rewards close attention.
