## Synopsis

Without Sin (2022) is a British four-part crime drama miniseries created and written by Frances Poletti for ITV1, produced by Left Bank Pictures and released in full on ITVX. Vicky McClure plays Stella Tomlinson, a taxi driver who keeps grieving as though her daughter's death happened yesterday, three years after the loss. Her family life is already in tatters when she receives a message from her daughter's killer. Johnny Harris plays Charles Stone, a central figure in the unsettling contact that follows, and Dorothy Atkinson plays Jessie Cole, part of the wider circle around Stella. The engine of the story is Stella's need to face the person who took her child, weighed against the damage this reopened wound does to everyone around her. Each of the four episodes sustains a tight, unbroken arc, making this a limited series that rewards steady attention from start to finish. The mood is tense, raw and emotionally heavy, with grounded British realism and a psychological thriller undercurrent. Fans of The Killing, Broadchurch and The Sixth Commandment will find resonance in its blend of grief, suspicion and moral confrontation.
