## Synopsis

Corazón salvaje (1992-1994) is a Mexican telenovela created by Caridad Bravo Adams, Alberto Cortés, and José Rendón for Las Estrellas. Spanning 160 episodes in a single run, it follows the entangled romances and rivalries between two brothers and two sisters in Mexico. Edith González plays Mónica de Altamira, a woman whose heart is pulled between competing suitors, while Eduardo Palomo plays Juan del Diablo, a man who moves under a second name and hides his true identity. Ariel López Padilla plays Andrés Alcázar y Valle, and Ana Colchero plays Aimeé de Altamira, their connections knotted by pride, class, and old grudges. Each episode is built from confrontations, secret letters, schemes between rival households, and reversals in courtship, all unfolding in a richly staged world of haciendas and city mansions. The series delivers the operatic emotion, heightened romance, and melodramatic suspense that define the form, with a sweeping, passionate tone. Fans of Los ricos también lloran, Gone with the Wind, and Ramona will find the same blend of period romance and sibling rivalry. Set in 1885 to 1900 Mexico, it is a classic romance soap built for viewers who love long, emotional storytelling.
