## Synopsis

The Devil's Hour is a British crime thriller created by Tom Moran for Prime Video, running across two seasons and eleven episodes so far. Jessica Raine plays Lucy Chambers, a woman who wakes every night at exactly 3:33am while her life has long lost its sense. Peter Capaldi appears as Gideon Shepherd, and Nikesh Patel plays DI Ravi Dhillon, a detective whose investigation into a string of brutal murders pulls Lucy deeper into the case. Phil Dunster and Benjamin Chivers feature among the wider cast. The engine of the series is a search for answers: Lucy follows a trail of killings that she senses are connected to her own nightly disturbances, and each episode moves through interviews, dead ends and escalating dread. Rather than a case-of-the-week format, the show is one continuing mystery across its seasons. Its atmosphere is eerie and unsettling, a blend of police investigation and supernatural horror that keeps the viewer uneasy. Fans of The Leftovers, Broadchurch and Dark will find resonance in its brooding tone, personal mystery and dread-filled London setting. The horror is not watered down, and the series rewards close attention to its puzzle.
