## Synopsis

My Dad the Bounty Hunter is an American animated family comedy created by Everett Downing Jr. and Patrick Harpin for Netflix. Its protagonist, Terry, an intergalactic bounty hunter voiced by Laz Alonso, wants his dangerous work to run smoothly, but his two kids, Lisa and Sean, stow away on his ship and derail every mission. The engine of each episode is the clash between professional hunting and parenting, as the kids get tangled up in the pursuit of targets across bright, invented alien worlds. Across two seasons of roughly twenty-five minute episodes, the adventures are episodic and can be watched in any order. The 3D computer animation is bouncy and colorful, and the tone stays gentle, playful and warm, with light action and slapstick that keep the energy high without frightening younger viewers. The series leans on a warm father and children dynamic, where affection grows through chaos rather than heavy drama. Viewers who enjoy Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Futurama or Clone High will recognize the same blend of space adventure, animated humor and family-friendly heart.
