## Synopsis

Signora Volpe (2022-2026) is a British crime mystery drama created by Rachel Cuperman and Sally Griffiths and produced by Route 24 and Cattleya for Acorn TV. Emilia Fox plays Sylvia Fox, a former MI6 operative who leaves her spy career behind to visit her sister Isabel Vitale, played by Tara Fitzgerald, in a small village in Umbria. Her quiet holiday turns into an entanglement with a murder investigation, and she works alongside Capitano Giovanni Riva (Giovanni Cirfiera), the local officer whose methods clash with hers. Each season unfolds across a handful of feature-length episodes, with the central mystery built around the village's secrets and its tight-knit community. The show plays with the contrast between covert tradecraft and the slow, sun-warmed rhythms of rural Italian life, producing a tone that is wry, observant, and carefully paced. Viewers who enjoy Death in Paradise, Killing Eve, and Inspector Montalbano will find a similar blend of crime puzzle, outsider sleuthing, and European scenery. The series runs three seasons with nine episodes in total and is still returning.
