## Synopsis

Landman (2024-present) is a Taylor Sheridan drama created with Christian Wallace and streaming on Paramount+. Billy Bob Thornton plays Tommy Norris, a seasoned oil field landman who navigates the cutthroat deals of the West Texas boomtowns, while Demi Moore plays Cami Miller, a powerful figure in the oil world, and Andy Garcia plays Gallino, a wealthy operator whose fortune rides on the boom. Ali Larter plays Angela Norris, Jacob Lofland plays Cooper Norris, and Michelle Randolph plays Ainsley Norris, the family whose lives orbit the rigs and deals. The engine of the series is the scramble for land leases, the friction between billionaire executives and the roughnecks who drill beneath them, and the personal costs of chasing a fortune in a place reshaped by an oil boom. Each season moves through a continuing story, with a steady pace of negotiations, hard labor, and power plays rather than standalone cases. Set in the present-day oil fields of West Texas, the show carries a gritty, sprawling, and sometimes darkly comic tone, with an upstairs downstairs structure that links the wealthy and the working class. Fans of Yellowstone, Succession and Dallas will find resonance in its blend of family drama, power and the American southwest.
