## Synopsis

Den of Wolves (1986-1987) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Televisa and broadcast on Las Estrellas, created by Carlos Olmos. Its story follows a struggle for power within a wealthy Mexican dynasty, with the scheming Catalina Creel (María Rubio) working to control the family's fortune and shape the fates of those around her. José Carlos Larios Creel (Gonzalo Vega) and Leonora Navarro (Diana Bracho) sit among the principal players, with Alejandro Camacho and Rebecca Jones also in the cast. Across one season of 85 episodes, each 45-minute installment advances the rivalries, romances and betrayals that keep the household in constant tension. The series is a classic melodramatic soap built on inheritance feuds, class divides and villainous manipulation, delivered with the heightened emotion and sweeping domestic drama typical of the form. Its atmosphere is theatrical and intimate, centered on opulent family homes and boardroom maneuvering. Fans of Dallas, Dynasty and other nighttime family sagas will find resonance in its appetite for scandal and its reliance on a magnetic antagonist. The show was enormously popular in Mexico and found audiences in several countries abroad.
