## Synopsis

Prisma (2022-2024) is an Italian coming of age teen drama series created by Ludovico Bessegato and Alice Urciuolo, produced with Amazon Studios and distributed on Prime Video. The story follows identical twins Marco and Andrea, played by Mattia Carrano in both roles, who look exactly alike yet approach life in very different ways. As they begin a journey of self discovery and transition from who they are expected to be toward who they want to be, their circle of friends becomes part of the picture. Lorenzo Zurzolo as Daniele, Caterina Forza as Nina, and Chiara Bordi as Carola anchor the friendships and romances that surround the brothers. Across two seasons and sixteen episodes of roughly forty-six minutes each, the drama moves through rooms, streets and nights of contemporary Italy, with the engine being each character's private search for a place of their own. The tone is intimate, sincere and often tender, with moments of youthful restlessness and quiet melancholy. Its frank treatment of queer identity sets it apart from many teen dramas. Fans of Skam Italia, Heartstopper and Elite will find resonance in its portrait of friendship, longing and belonging. The series was canceled after its second season, leaving its story open.
