## Synopsis

Dead End: Paranormal Park (2022) is a British animated supernatural comedy series created by Hamish Steele for Netflix. Barney Guttman (voiced by Zach Barack) and Norma Khan (voiced by Kody Kavitha) are two teenagers who, alongside a wisecracking talking pug named Pugsley (voiced by Alex Brightman), take jobs at a decaying haunted theme park where demons lurk behind every attraction. Their immediate goal is simple survival and getting through the summer, but the park's strange occupants and an emerging supernatural apocalypse keep raising the stakes. Each episode mixes monster-of-the-week encounters with slapstick humor, absurd set pieces, and lighter moments of friendship and self-discovery, while the wider story gradually pushes the group toward saving the world. Courtney (Emily Osment), Badyah Hassan (Kathreen Khavari), Pauline Phoenix (Miss Coco Peru), and Logan Nguyen (Kenny Tran) round out a cast of voice actors bringing a bright, goofy and warmly queer-inflected energy to the show. Its two seasons run twenty episodes in total, and the series was canceled before its story could finish. Fans of Gravity Falls and Hilda will find resonance in its blend of kids' horror, quirky found family and offbeat monster adventure.
