## Synopsis

Hold Tight (2022) is a Polish crime mystery miniseries created for Netflix, adapted from a novel. Anna Barczyk (Magdalena Boczarska) and Michał Barczyk (Leszek Lichota) sit at the center of a tight-knit, affluent Warsaw suburb where the trouble begins when a young man goes missing soon after his friend dies. As the search unfolds, the people who knew both young men are pulled into a web of half-truths, hidden affairs and quiet concealments, and each new discovery forces the community to confront what it has buried. Anchored by a six-episode run of roughly fifty-minute chapters, the story moves steadily through interviews, private confrontations and gradual revelations rather than action set pieces. Other principal roles are played by Krzysztof Oleksyn, Agnieszka Grochowska and Grzegorz Damięcki. The tone is somber and tense, with a claustrophobic sense that respectable domestic life hides something rotten. Fans of Big Little Lies, The Killing and Broadchurch will find resonance in its patient, character-driven unraveling of a community's secrets.
