## Synopsis

Blind (2022) is a South Korean crime mystery series created by Kwon Ki-kyung for tvN. Detective Ryu Sung-jun (TAECYEON) is himself suspected of a crime while he hunts for the real killer, and he is joined by his brother Ryu Sung-hoon (Ha Seok-jin) and a juror, Jo Eun-gi (Jung Eun-ji). The engine of the story is a chain of jurors dying after a contested murder trial has already ended, forcing Ryu to dig back into the verdict and the people who shaped it. Each episode peels away another layer of evidence, with the pressure of the detective's own suspicion tightening every step. Told across a single sixteen-episode season of roughly seventy minutes each, it is a self-contained limited serial rather than a case-of-the-week format. The atmosphere is tense and grim, with a cold, procedural realism set in contemporary South Korea. Viewers who enjoy Korean crime thrillers and serial killer puzzles will find resonance with Signal and Mindhunter, and with the institutional unease of Stranger.
