## Synopsis

The Marked Heart (2022-2023) is a Colombian telenovela-style drama series created by Leonardo Padrón for Netflix. Zacarías (Sebastián Martínez) is a man consumed by a single goal: exacting revenge on the organ trafficking organization that murdered his wife. His path becomes tangled with Camilla (Ana Lucía Domínguez), the woman who received his wife's heart, and the pull between vengeance and an unexpected attraction drives the series forward. Simón (Michel Brown) and Valeria (Margarita Muñoz) add further entanglements, while Samantha (Valeria Emiliani) and Tomás (Julián Cerati) complicate loyalties around the criminal network. Across two seasons and 24 episodes of roughly 45 minutes each, the story moves through secret alliances, shifting betrayals and dangerous confrontations, with each episode ending on a fresh turn. The tone is operatic and emotionally raw, with grief and longing sitting beside brutal crime. Fans of Betty la fea, Dark Desire and Money Heist will find resonance in its melodrama, serialized suspense and revenge-fueled romance. Set in contemporary Colombia, it is a mature, sensational telenovela built around love, loss and retribution.
