## Synopsis

The Scooby, Scrappy & Yabba-Doo Show (1982) is a American animated family comedy series created for ABC as a Hanna-Barbera Cartoons production, a Saturday morning spin-off of the Scooby-Doo franchise. Voice actors Frank Welker, Casey Kasem and Don Messick bring Fred, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo to life in one half of the program, while Scrappy-Doo's own adventures follow him alongside his uncle Yabba-Doo and Deputy Dusty. Across thirteen hour-long episodes, the first half has the Fearless Detective Agency traveling the country taking on spy and criminal cases, with the crew chasing down suspects and unmasking culprits. The second half drops the characters into a wild west setting, where Scrappy and Yabba-Doo tangle with various bad guys who are always caught by the end of each adventure. The tone is breezy, goofy and comforting, built on slapstick, quick gags and a reliable case-closing format. Fans of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, The Flintstones and Inspector Gadget will find the same playful, low-stakes cartoon charm here, a gentle, lighthearted Saturday morning viewing experience for children and families.
