## Synopsis

Parish (2024) is an American crime drama series created for AMC, a single-season run of six episodes lasting about forty-six minutes each. Giancarlo Esposito plays Gracián Gray Parish, a good man with a troubled past who abandoned a life of crime to become a family man with his wife Rose Parish (Paula Malcomson). When his son is violently murdered, Gray's old habits resurface and he embarks on a relentless hunt driven by moral conviction that carries dangerous consequences. Skeet Ulrich appears as Colin Broussard, and Bradley Whitford plays Anton Valmont in a supporting role across several episodes. The engine of the story is Gray's pursuit, with every episode tightening the pressure on a man who must decide how far he will go to get justice. The series is a contemporary American story, grounded in ordinary family life before tragedy breaks it apart. Its mood is tense, bleak and grim, with a hard-edged moral seriousness. Viewers who enjoyed the revenge-driven arcs of Breaking Bad, Ozark and Better Call Saul will find a similar pull toward a father whose past refuses to stay buried. The show was canceled after its first season, leaving the pursuit unfinished.
