## Synopsis

From Now On, Showtime! (2022) is a South Korean supernatural mystery comedy created by Ha Yoon-ah for MBC, a single-season limited run of sixteen one-hour episodes. Park Hae-jin plays Cha Cha-woong, a spectacle-loving magician whose flashy stagecraft hides a deeper purpose, and Jin Ki-joo plays Go Seul-hae, a police officer who can see ghosts. Together with his crew of ghost companions, including Ko Kyu-pil as Ma Dong-cheol and Jung Jun-ho as Choi Gum, Cha Cha-woong takes on cases that ordinary investigators cannot crack. The engine of the show is the uneasy partnership between living and dead, as each case uncovers unfinished business and a quiet pull of romance between the two leads. Episodes are largely self-contained crime puzzles with supernatural justice at their heart, while a gentle thread of attraction builds across the season. The tone is playful and warm, with theatrical magic tricks, bright comic beats and a lighter touch on grief than the premise might suggest. Fans of Ghost Whisperer and Ghost Mama will find a similar blend of spirits and cases here, delivered in the breezy register of Korean television comedy.
