## Synopsis

Frasier (2023-2024) is a US multi-camera sitcom revival created by Joe Cristalli and Chris Harris for Paramount+. Kelsey Grammer returns as the pompous, erudite Frasier Crane, who moves back to Boston with new challenges, fresh relationships and a long-deferred dream to fulfill. Nicholas Lyndhurst plays Alan Cornwall, an Englishman whose presence brings a fresh comic counterweight, while Jack Cutmore-Scott plays Freddy Crane, Frasier's son, whose everyday life pushes his father into unfamiliar territory. Each thirty-minute episode is built around small domestic and social misadventures, with Frasier's vanity and intellectual self-regard colliding with ordinary life. The show runs for two seasons of ten episodes each, with a mix of genuinely witty moments and a few flat ones. The tone is warm, breezy and nostalgic, reviving the sensibility of the original series. Set in contemporary Boston and the academic and social circles around Harvard, it plays as an easy watch for fans of the original. Fans of Frasier, Cheers and Will and Grace will find resonance in its blend of character comedy and familiar sitcom rhythms.
