## Synopsis

XO, Kitty (2023-present) is a Netflix teen romantic comedy created by Jenny Han, the author behind To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and produced as a spin-off of that franchise. Anna Cathcart plays Katherine Song Covey, a Korean American matchmaker who thinks she has love figured out until she moves to Seoul to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend Dae Kim, played by Choi Min-yeong. Her friendships with Yuri Han (Gia Kim) and Min-ho Moon (Daniel Lee) pull her into the social circle of a Korean international high school, where every episode trades in crushes, misunderstandings, and new romantic entanglements. The engine is simple: Kitty wants her relationship to survive the distance and the pressure of a new life abroad, while her matchmaking instincts keep getting tested. Each season is a run of breezy, self-contained romantic episodes building into a continuing storyline about first love and growing up. The tone is sweet, bright, and warm, with a light touch of heartache and a strong sense of place in modern Seoul. Fans of To All the Boys I've Loved Before, Never Have I Ever, and Gossip Girl will find resonance in its high school romance, cross-cultural identity, and youthful charm.
