## Synopsis

Wedding Agreement: The Series (2022-2023) is an Indonesian romance drama created for Disney+ Hotstar and produced by Starvision Plus, running two seasons and twenty episodes of roughly forty-nine minutes each. On the night of her wedding, Tari, played by Indah Permatasari, is handed a written agreement by her new husband Bian, played by Refal Hady, that will end their marriage after only a year. Bian is faithful to his long-term girlfriend Sarah, played by Susan Sameh, and agreed to the arranged match only to satisfy his parents. The engine of the series is Tari's determination to win a husband whose heart belongs elsewhere, while the contract clock ticks, family expectations press from every side, and rival affections complicate each move. Episodes unfold as intimate domestic scenes, emotional confrontations and quiet pivots in the relationships around the couple. The tone is tender and wistful, with a melancholic undercurrent of unrequited devotion and a warm hope that the marriage might become real. Set in contemporary urban Indonesia, it is a grounded, dialogue-driven household story. Fans of Crazy Rich Asians, Marry My Husband and Meteor Garden will find resonance in its mix of romance, family pressure and a love triangle.
