## Synopsis

Yakamoz S-245 (2022) is a Turkish science fiction drama series created by Jason George and released on Netflix. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ plays Arman, a marine biologist aboard the research submarine S-245, with Özge Özpirinçci as Defne and Ertan Saban as Umut among the principal crew. After a disaster has struck the Earth, the crew must keep themselves alive inside the cramped, sealed vessel while the outside world grows ever more hostile. Their mission gradually reveals a conspiracy, pushing the characters to question whom they can trust as survival and suspicion tighten together. The series runs for a single season of seven episodes, each roughly fifty minutes long, and follows one continuing storyline in which every decision carries weight. Its look is claustrophobic and bleak, with the tension of confined quarters set against an apocalyptic future. Viewers who enjoy post-apocalyptic survival drama, submarine confinement and serialized conspiracy will find resonance here, in the vein of Snowpiercer and The 100. The season ends on an open question rather than a settled outcome, leaving the central mystery unresolved.
